I have a Fitbit blaze and an iPhone 6s Plus with iOS 10.2 and when I try to sync my Fitbit to my iPhone, it tells me it needs to be updated but when I try to update it, it loads about halfway and then just stops and tells me to do it again. I have tried the hard reset by holding the left and bottom button and I still haven't had any success. Is there anything else I can try to do to get it to sync to my phone and update?
Best AnswerI am having the same problem. I have had my Blaze since August and haven't had any problems until recently. Mine hasn't been sync'd since 12/26...I've tried all of the resets, logoffs, etc. Everytime I try to update, it does exactly as you have described - updates about halfway and then reverts back to syncing and asking me to update...Hoping someone else can help resolve the problem...
Best AnswerWell @MightyMouse30 your not worried about syncing yet, your still setting it up.
Since the update has started, Ufyou find the upgrade bar gets longer with each try,, if it was me I would keep trying.
First however go to your phones Bluetooth setting and remove the Bkaze, also try both WiFi and cellular network.
You could also use a different device, as an iPad or computer to finish the setup.
Best AnswerI'm having the exact same issue at the moment and apparently my device hasn't been synced since 16/12.
I've just tried "forget this device" and re-installing it with the Fitbit app where it then asked to update the Blaze. It's currently slowly updating so I'll have to check back in later to let you know whether it worked or not.
The loading bar is really slow so I may be a while -.-
Best AnswerWell, I forgot the device on my iPhone and went to re-pair the blaze with my phone, and now it will not show up on my device list at all? My computer also will not connect to it or recognize it. In not sure what's going on.
Best AnswerUpdate for you guys: I restarted it, got it reconnect through the classic pair, but the update still will not download. Is it possible that my Fitbit is just fried or is there another way I can download the software?

It's not forgetting the device in your IOS Bluetooth settings, it's actually forgetting the device in the Fitbit app itself. I did that earlier today and I successfully downloaded the Blaze update and now everything works fine again.
