Fitbit Blaze won't update tracker software

Hi! I have an Oppo f1s and when I open the app it says that I need to update tracker software. When I try to do this, it doesn't work. 

Because of this, my fitbit won't track my runs.

@_Tinkabel, you say that the tracker doesnt update, at what step of the update process is it failing.

When I hit "update tracker software" on my fitbit app, it attempts to update my fitbit, but 30 seconds later it says "cannot update tracker software, would you like to try again?"
