Fitbit Connect 2.0.2.7030 Error

When I click "Install Update," it starts downloading and then gives:
Update Error! An error occurred in retrieving update information. Please try again later.

I have:
Dongle v2.5
Fitbit Connect 2.0.1.6802

I get (and always have got) this error with all Fitbit Connect updates, it can never be updated by the install option in Fitbit Connect. I have found the only way to install updates is by trying to find the update online, manually download it, and manually install it after uninstalling your current version.

Trouble is it's almost impossible to find the latest version available to download and manually install, and Fitbit support are, as usual, completely silent about helping with this problem, let alone actually fixing it.
