Fitbit/MyFitnessPal sync

I have spent most of this morning trying to persuade my Blaze that it should share my steps with MyFitnessPal. Sadly it is not cooperating. I have read the other posts by Fitbit'ers with similar issues and I have followed the guidelines. I have revoked access to MyFitnessPal via the dashboard and then tried to re-sync. How ever many times I do this, MyFitnessPal suggests I am connected but my Fitbit dashboard is not displaying it in my authorised apps section. I really don't want to add my steps manually as it defeats the purpose of syncing the apps (or not in my case).

Please can someone help?!

Hey there @Emma3821! 🙂 Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums!

Have you consulted with My Fitness Pal Support team? If your Fitbit account is recording showing your information correctly and you have already tried to revoke access and re link your two accounts and this has not helped, you might want to verify with them directly as there's no known general issue with this at the moment. Give it a try and let us know if you're able to get it working!

Anything else you may need, let me know!

My problem is the opposite. My Fitbit app shows that it's linked to MGP, but none of my nutrition information Fromm MFP is syncing with my Fitbit. Any suggestions?

Hi there @Jennrapp23 it should according to this post https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Third-Party-Apps-Informational-Post/m-p/144...

My duggestion would be to revolk access then reconnect. If it still is not working then your best choice is to contact Fitbit.

To revoke see @MarreFitbit's at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-2/How-to-remove-the-connection-with-Strava/m-p/1853565/highli...

I don't know if this works yet because it doesn't work retroactively and I haven't gone to the gym today.  But if you go into MFP from your desktop PC (this setting is not in the phone app) and from your Home tab, then to settings, then to diary settings, you come to a list of stuff.  There is a tiny checkbox for Negative Calorie Adjustments.  Mine was unchecked, so I changed it.  Per the description, it SHOULD fix it.  HTH!
