Does your blaze sync through the phome? Of so there is nothing left to do that requires a pin.
On your app go to devices, than your blaze, scroll down to notifacations, set them for what you wamt.
The Blaze classic is for music control, the Blaze can only be paired by the app.. If the blaze doesn't show as paired turn always connected on and do a sync.

@Rich_Laue Thanks for stopping b, @Don_Moodie welcome to the Community and thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself. I recommend following @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post. After these steps you should be able to receive notifications without a problem.
