My Fitbit blaze is less than 2 years old. It just recently stopped charging like it used to and while on the charger, shows a temperature icon. When I pick it up, it is reallly hot. Any fix for this?

Same thing happen with my blaze. Sadly, iit can not be repaired or replaced. The customer support team said it’s something internal within the device itself. They did offer a discount on the purchase of another tracker, except the Ionic. This is my third and last tracker. The flex, charge then blaze all died.

My Blaze is only 1 year and 1 month old and I'm having the same issue. The phone would overheat while charging, but won't even hold a charge longer than 5 minutes. Then the overheat thermometer icon would appear, tried restarting (didn't fix the issue). I paid a lot of money for this watch that lasted for only a year and now it's completely useless. Customer support couldn't help me since my Blaze is out of warranty by 1 month! They could only offer me a 25% discount on a future product, really??? What a slap in the face!

I'm having the exact same problem. It started two days ago. I've restarted the device multiple times and charged it for several hours. Battery won't charge. Device gets hot. Push any button and the overheat icon will display. I've had my Blaze for 16 months. Based on other posts it sounds like I'm hosed. Any chance that Fitbit has recently become more generous with their warranty?

I just had this problem for the first time. I had in charger, put it on my wrist and it eas hot enough to burn me but no charge. Please tell me that something can be done, these are not inexpensive devices.

Exactly the same with mine. I have several spare wriststraps and other accessories which are all expensive for what they are. This will be the first and last fitbit I buy if they won't repair replace or at least offer a substantial discount on another purchase. Also potential purchasers need to know about this systemic problem.

I've found my John Lewis purchase order and it came with a 2-year guarantee (Fitbit only offer 1 year as standard) so should be able to get it replaced. Thanks John Lewis!
