Fitbit blaze sync issue with moto g5 plus

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got a new phone, Moto G5 Plus. Fitbit Blaze was syncing just fine at the beginning but stopped. It keeps telling me Bluetooth is not on, when it actually is. I erased and reloaded Fitbit Blaze in my new phone. nothing seems to work any more.

Any suggestions? Please

Thank you

Hi there @Kampopovecz. Great to have you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Blaze not syncing to your Moto G5 Plus 😕

I was taking a look at the list of compatible devices and it appears that the Moto G5 Plus is not in the list of supported devices 😕

This doesn't necessarily mean that your tracker will not sync at all, but that it may not be 100% compatible to sync or that it will sync but not all the functions will work properly. As in your situation, it seems that it did sync at first but then it quit syncing.

Please take a look at the list of compatible devices to know which phones will sync with your tracker without a problem.

I'm very sorry about this inconvenient but if there's anything else I can help you with, let me know. I'll be happy to do so.

I have a g5s plus, Blaze would not sync. I checked the compatibility list and found my old Moto X was on the list so I pulled it out installed Fitbit app, sync to The Blaze now the blaze will sync with my g5s Plus I also have a charge 2 on the Moto 5gs plus works perfectly along with the blaze they both sync on the Moto X and the g5s Plus why I have two is another story.

It would be helpful to know whether there is a time frame for the Moto G5 (and other phones) to go on the compatible list. I won't repeat others' frustrations about the inaccessibility of the compatible list etc, but if my phone and my fitbit aren't going to be syncing at all anymore (which they don't seem to be) then one of them needs to be replaced (and - let's be realistic, it isn't going to be the phone)

I gave my charge 2 to my wife she has a Samsung phone it would rarely sync
to my g5s Plus. I have a Fitbit Blaze it syncs to my Moto g5s plus all the
time, sometimes reluctantly. If I was going to buy a new tracker I would
buy the Garmin Vivosport a friend of mine has one and it syncs to anything
all the time. Might be time to cut your losses and sell it go buy yourself
a Garmin. Fitbit has had plenty of time to get their trackers to work
properly on all phones they don't seem to be concern that they don't sync.
