My Fitbit hasn’t been tracking sleep since September. Why?

you are not alone.  The next stage will be a battery that fails to hold its charge for more than a few hours.  If you're lucky the heart rate monitor might work during the day........

I’m having the same issue, only my Fitbit stopped tracking sleep about a week ago. October.

I’ve shut down several times, but no effect. ☹️

Clever scam to get us all to buy the latest model ??

All sorts of odd recommendations have been given out by everyone including moderators.  Let the battery run down, then synch it.  Or press this button followed by that button then turn it off and back on again followed by do a handstand and a triple toe loop jump.

there are so many consumers here having the same problems.  The functionality or battery or both stop after about a year give or take a few months.  If it's still under warranty then you gave to fight for the replacement that is your right.  If it's a bit out of warranty then you're on your own unless you want to waste your money on another.

Just thought I would let you know, on the 3 triple loop, it started to work!! Joking aside, I shut the watch down in settings, then restarted it, the sleep now works

Thanks Barry19, but I have tried shutting down in settings like four times already and it still hasn't helped. I've let the battery drain down and then did a reset.  So far, nothing has worked.
