I worked out today for almost 2 hours. 45 minutes shoulders & biceps. 30 minutes on treadmill at 30% incline at 3.3 km per hour. 30 minutes on step mill at 162 steps per minutes. My Fitbit Blaze tells me i worked out for only 51 minutes. I believe steps walked was accurate but floors climbed says only 33 floors! The step mill told me over 300 floors. why is Fitbit so inaccurate?

Fitbit will track floors by combining steps with altitude changes as measured by a barometer. If you are not riding in altitude, you will not get credit for a flight of stairs climbed.
seperately- if autotrack is not showing your full workout duration you can always manually start a workout. Also, Fitbit will record more HR data (1 per sec vs. 1 every 5 seconds) when you manually start the workout.

It will count steps as long as your wrist is moving-

I really don't think that @SunsetRunner needs to create an ankle band.
We have a fitbit one that attached to the body and is not looking at the arm.
As for distance on a treadmill l your we looks at the steps and the stride, well the problem is that the stride changes with the speed.
As for the 30 minutes versus 51 minutes, without know what mode you used to track your exercise I can't comment.. Did you use the manual treadmill mode and forgot to turn it off, or let the auto detect do its thing. If you were on the treadmill then had to walk someplace you might not have stopped walking long enough for Fitbit to see that you stopped.

My Blaze shows totally exaggerated number of floors climbed. the altitude I travel through daily is not more than 50 ft. Yet at times it has shown 90 floors. Often it shows 30 to 40 floors.
I live on 4th floor of a building and go down and come up 3 to 4 times a day.
Why is it showing such figures for the floors climbed?

Hello @Kishore1935 we would need to know more info.. Is it windy, storms pass over, do you travel in a car with a window open? Do you work in a building that is with negative or positive presurized?
All of the above could add stairs.
About your building. Are your ceilings over 10 feet high?
