What a horrible waste. Great design and functionality ruined by the need put the fitbit name on the bevel. Even apple, which has a far greater brand, doesn't ruin their apple watch this way.
Guaranteed to turn off a great percentage of potential buyers who would otherwise use as an everyday watch. Will lose tens of millions in sales because of it.
Am I wrong?

Probably. I doubt most people will even notice it's there.

@sensemakerThanks for the feedback. I will make sure to pass it along to the appropriate team.
Personally, I don't see any aesthetic problem with the brand name on the display. I wouldn't mind seeing "Rolex" displayed on a timepiece.

Exactly! "the cheap ones" all have a logo/name.
this is a pretty cool, high end design, ala apple watch, but it looks cheap because of the name.

No, he said "all except the cheap ones" have a logo/name.

Go buy yourself a $45,000 Rolex, you will see their name on the front. Does this make it look cheap.
I'm wondering if people think that Apple is the standard to be imitated, it's not, I believe Fitbit is looking to blaze new trails.
BTW i found this watch on sale for a measly $34,999, (used), and att only $33,799 more than i paid for my car, it is a steal.

i don't personally mind the look of the brand name on the display... although the logo would look nicer in my opinion (obviously in a subtle way and not in colour)

@Clareio@lindyloo_bates I don't mind seeing the name Fitbit on my Fitbit product. It looks good to me.

Yeah, I don't see this being an issue. I'm sure it's hardly noticeable in person and every watch has the company name on it. It's what watch companies do.

@SassyPants-21@matt9013 Yeah, the font is super thin so you can't really notice it. The font is thinner than the "Samsung" name on my phone's display bezel.
