If you are looking for a smart watch think twice about buying a fitbit. They no longer support the blaze and many other watches they are still selling. Many people have purchased one of these watches and have been told that fitbit has no plans to update or upgrade the software for your watch. I was very disappointed to find out that they no longer support these watches. If i knew this before buying i would have spent the money on a different product.

Thanks for not caring about all your customers fitbit. Way to go!!!

To clarify, Fitbit is not still selling the Blaze.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Been almost 2 years since they stopped selling the Blaze.

Is this the reason for the battery issue

Has anyone compared the Baze life cycle to that of the other trackers!

Fitbit supported the fitbit one for 5 years!  The blaze I think was just long enough to get it through the warranty period!

They still support all devices that are not sold anymore

As for life cycle. It depends on a lot of things. How its taken care of how its charged etc?

I have many devices and all are going on 3-4 years and still going strong

If your asking if Fitbit will honor a warranty that has expired, then no they do not.

@Tmommy possibly. Lithium batteries have a limited lifespan with discharge/charge cycles. Heat and left discharged to long will also affect the batteries life.

Both ifixit and Amazon sell batteries for the Blaze. With instructions on how to replace.

If interested their are several YouTube videos on this subject. It should not be hard to find a neighbor willing to help you out. It doesn't look very hard. I know a ten year old girl that fixes iPhone's.
