Quick question,
I am going to buy a unopened fitbit from another person on ebay,if the original owner gives me the receipt and the fitbit is still new in the box with all its accessories,can i still get warranty on the fitbit product for me?

I have seen posts where people have had fitbit support for eBay purchases but strictly speaking you will not be covered. If you check out the warranty terms via the link at the bottom of this page, you'll see:
"These Limited Product Warranties apply only to the original purchaser of the Product that was purchased from an authorized reseller or sales channel"
So, as you are not the original purchaser you will not qualify and eBay is not on the list of authorised sellers.
I would therefore assume that you are not covered and factor this into the price you pay on eBay.

@SteveH Ahh, the elusive authorized retailers list. That one is so old it has HH Gregg and doesn't have Sams Club. But it's better than the partial list of likely paid advertisers you can find on here or posted by mods.

@Caitlyn7 I want to emphasize the @MarkMM is absolutely correct about the battery. The type of battery in a Fitbit does degrade over time, even in storage. Stay away.
