Just got the fitbit Blaze today. It is telling me that it will not update until tracker is charged. I hacve plugged in myn tracker to my laptop but there is no indication that it is charging, still on the setup screen. what should i do?!

@jesslsmith Until the tracker is set up to your account, the screen will not display anything other than the set up message. Once you add the tracker, you should then be able to proceed with the update.
Hope that helps~

So should i charge completely before updating/setup?

You need to:
1. Set up your blaze.
2. Charge your blaze.
(Note: You can charge your blaze while setting up.)
3. At the end of setup, the fitbit app will ask you to update your software.

Since there is no indication that it is charging, it will be hard to tell when it is actually fully charged. 30 minutes on the charger should be long enough, try the update again, or just leave it on its charger while your doing the update.
