Floor count stopped working

I just received my Blaze a few days ago. It seemed to be working fine. I walk daily and it was counting everything...steps, HR, calories, etc. When I walk, the elevation climbs about 20 to 40 feet so I noticed that the floor tracker was showing the floors count. Today when I went for my walk on the same path, the floor tracker stayed at 0 and during the day, has not counted any floors. I tried restarting my Blaze 3 or 4 times but that didn't seem to help any.

Hi, @kaysway! Did you climb stairs after restarting the Blaze? Restarting will not retroactively adjust anything. Also, I noticed the other day on my Blaze that it randomly stopped counting flights toward the end of the day, but the next day it worked fine. (I experimented by climbing a flight 3 times and it didn't adjust.)

It's great to see you around @kaysway. If your Blaze is not registering your floors, I recommend Restarting your tracker. After the restart process, you can test it.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I am having the same issue. I noticed yesterday that my Blaze did not calculate my trips up steps. So I restarted it this morning and it still is not registering stairs. Please help. I have had this tracker for a week!

Hi there @Giggs11. Good to see you around! 🙂

I just noticed you haven't received a reply and just wanted to jump in and see how's all going. Were you able to get the problem with the stairs resolved?

Let me know if you still need more help. I'll be happy to give you a hand!

I did call customer service back in August and received help for resetting my Blaze. The stairs still do not calculate 100%. There are days that I still register no stairs when I have been up and down the stairs numerous times and then other days when I am not using the stairs as much it tells me a very high number of stairs. *shrug* The Blaze is a tool and in some circumstances not a very accurate tool. It is disappointing as it makes me think what else is not accurate in its readings. I use the Blaze for guidance not gospel.

But thanks for responding! Smiley Happy
