How to get original goal progress information back?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Today on my app I updated my goal weight but then it reset my goal progress from today's date instead of going from when I first started using my Blaze.

Is there anyway of getting the original goal progress back. I want to see the full amount of kg's I have lost since owning my Fitbit. At the moment it says I have lost none as it is going from today's date 😔

Hi there @Brookemennie. Good to see you in the Community!

Whenever you change your weight goal, this will change from the day you change it forward and you can only change it again starting that same day but you will not be able to change it for a previous day 😕

Let me know if you have more questions.

Then why have the option in the app (Account -> Settings -> Nutrition & Body -> Weight -> Start Date) if we can't actually set it? Whenever I try, it suddenly sets my goal weight to something ridiculous, like 50 pounds. Then when I reset the goal weight on the same screen back to my real goal weight, the start date switches to the current day. I lost a month of "tracking" this way. While I still have all the history I can look at, it seems to count the trophies from this combination so instead of one 10 pound trophy, I've just got two 5 pounds trophies. I know it sounds minor on the surface but those silly trophies really help keep me motivated so this bug is really disappointing.

Is there no way to update weight changes without resetting goal? That is very de-incentifying. I want to chart my weight as it goes down.

Hey there @mpeace, good to see you here. If you go to the advanced settings and body/nutrition, you should see an option that says "Starting weight" which will not ask you for a date but if you set a new weight goal, this most likely will reset your program.

@ZeeDub, Good to see you around too!

In the app, you should be able to use the "+" option on your dashboard to log your weight to constantly update your weight without it resetting the weight goal. If you choose to choose a starting weight, this will most likely reset your whole program but just updating it will not.

Let me know if you have any other questions guys.
