Frustrated...... With people

I must say after reading posts from the last few days I am quite over the whinging and complaining about the Blaze in particular. The amazing amount of posts about features it should have, more watch, faces less size, more size, waterproofing, heat rate issues...god I could go on. I have had 3 fitbits so far and have liked them all. Even the charge that got replaced 3 times. They all did as advertised and that is track my steps, sleep etc. I now have a Blaze and am quite happy with it. Works great battery life is as advertised.
I'm just frustrated with the mountains of negativity here.
If you want a smart watch buy an Apple or a pebble ( I own a pebble as well and prefer the Blaze)
Yes it has its shortcomings software wise but i am sure many of these will be sorted out with future updates.
I think when there are people wanting to return a Fitbit because the blue is a different shade it's not a company problem it's a personal choice.
**end rant**

People will never be happy. Most don't even read directions. They don't even try to find an answer to their problems. Its never them its the companies fault always.

Most the time its  thiers  for lack of even trying. But you deal with it.

I'm surprised at how many people don't realize that there is a user manual for their Fitbit, or what a search function is for.

Also, how many people purchased this device before doing any research - like "is my phone compatable?" "Or can I get email".  Then after they have it, decide it is FitBit's fault for not being able to do so.

When I buy a car, I don't just buy one then say "What?  NO heated seats?  Geez - this is not acceptable and I expect the car manufacturer to fix that immediately as I assumed it had those."

This is the best post and thread ever.  Knowing what it did and did not plan on having prior to release, then complaining about it......but in some people's defence there have been some good questions like:

-vibration intensity

-some clock faces shown in marketing that were not available upon release

-initial setup problems

I even get frustrated with people wanting to complain about the HR monitor, like they are using this for their medical decisions.

 My personal favorite:

people that say there should have been more instruction on how to charge.....some things don't need (or shoudl not need) detailed procedures, like how to put a rectangle fitbit into a rectangle charger, but making sure it is face-up and that the charging pins touch the right place.  If you need that much detail or instructions then how in the world are you going to get used to the user interface.  This thing is SO SIMPLE.

Agree with the op... I've been one of the complainers at times, though. The blaze does exactly as it was advertised, and it works very well for a lot of us. There are bugs, but they will be fixed.

Hey everyone!

While we appreciate the continued willingness to converse and offer help in the Blaze forum, I'm going to lock this thread since it's off-topic and negative.

If there are any questions, please let me know.
