GPS Walk Route Gone

So just got back from a walk this morning and when I got to the house I finished the tracking on the app and it showed the map along with the miles walked but now when I go back to review it poof it has disappeared. It shows the walk stats but no map. It was roughly 3.8 miles. The walk I tracked yesterday still shows but not this mornings. Any help to recover it would be great.  Thanks

Hi! Bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut situation but....
My wife's Alta HR was having the same issue as your Blaze. She uninstalled and then reinstalled the app and everything seems to be working correctly again.

Hello  @smallz74 and @SunsetRunner, since you are refferring to using the Phone and not the tracker l, i would like to ask what phone your useing.

Yes this has been a problem with the Android phone, when the pause then resume was pressed. It supposedly has been fixed in the latest update, so i suggest updating the app.

My wife has a Chinese import Cubot Diamond. In all fairness it works very well with the FitBit devices as does my Cubot Max

 

It appeared to my limited knowledge that the apps connectivity to the phones GPS API was getting it's knickers in a twist! Absolutely no further issues since the uninstall/reinstall.

@SunsetRunner that would be understandable,. By un-installing then installing a fresh copy, you just happened to be installing the latest version of the app. This would be the betsion with the fix in it.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and will see how it works this morning when i go for a walk and will advise what happens.  The phone I use is a S8 Plus.

Looks like uninstalling the app and then installing again did the trick as it kept the info this time.  Thanks all. Hopefully it does not change and if it does i will be back 🙂
