Fitbit support ...
Any further advances with the GPS tracker phone connection during GPS connected exercise such as running or hiking. I am finding, unless I unpair my tracker, delete my app, reinstall my app and re-pair my tracker, the tracker and phone won't connect at all and if it does, it disconnects part way though. This is an ongoing issue that is well known about. Am really fed up. Still.
Any news?? Come on 2018 needs a resolution.

Hey there @celiawheelia, great to see you around!
Thanks for the efforts in trying to fix this issue. Could you please tell me which phone you have? In the meantime, I recommend checking if it is in our list of compatible mobile devices.
Hope to hear from you soon.

@AlejandraFitbit - of course I know my phone is compatible. I have had my fitbit for 2 years and this is a relatively recent problem. Starting about 6 months ago.
I have lost faith in fitbit to resolve this issue, I have also messaged fitbit support via Twitter, repeatedly. I have basically ended up with a very expensive pedometer that requires a huge amount of technical 'management' to allow me to use it as it should be used. This is not what I had expected. I can honestly say I will never buy another fitbit and I would never recommend one to anyone ever again. As soon as I can afford it I will be buying a Samsung smartwatch. I also know I am not alone in having this problem. I follow the message boards and this problem is increasing and I know ionic users are having a similar issue.
