When I have just been for a run for some reason my Blaze is not connecting to my phone to use the gps? Any suggestions ? I have had a few little niggles since the app was last updated.

I'm having the same problem lately. I had to get a new phone (Moto G4) and it synced up fine with the Blaze (I get text/call notifications and data transfer) but I have not been able to get the GPS to work with the Blaze at all. I've tried restarting the Blaze, restarting the phone, taking off WIFI, etc. but no GPS.

I get my GPS to work by restarting the phone.

So you select the exercise, say biking, then you restart the phone?

Thanks

@Michelle8979Welcome.. Location must be set on on your Phone.  If I'm having connection issues I use MapMyRun as a test to see if GPS is functional.and GPS Status to ensure I'm getting a strong signal.  This makes me confident the phone side is working.

In case you haven't found Fitbit's guidelines for GPS, here is the link..

If it doesn't connect I cancel it on the tracker, restart the phone, then set it up through the tracker.

Normally this is not needed if I restart the phone phone once a week like all Android phones need to be.

I also have problems if my memory is to full, I might have to clear out some apps.
