Hey All,
A few weeks back I noticed that one of the two green lights, I think they're the heart rate sensors, had stopped working. Also the sensor/chip that's visible between the two flashing lights has hazed over a bit and I think this is affecting the operation of my device.
The battery is also only holding its charge for about a day. I know the battery is dependant on personal use but how I use it hasn't changed but in the last week that battery life has dropped off completely.
Lastly, I 'm not sure which of two previous issues this one stems from but the device keeps resetting itself. I'll be wearing it and then feel it vibrate and the FitBit logo will be on the screen, I'mm guessing it's a battery issue?
I've had it coming up to a year now and would've thought that it would've lasted longer considering I look after it, never showered with it on, never bathed with it on, never got it wet. I keep it clean and dry but sometimes get hot and sweaty at work and when I work out but I always clean it down as soon as possible.
Any help with these matters would be greatly appreciated.

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @SunsetRunner, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community. Sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for letting me know all those details on your post, it's odd to know that your Ionic keeps resetting itself. I'd like to check with you a couple of steps to make sure your Ionic will keep working and charging.
I'd suggest to clean the contacts of your Ionic. These contacts can become obstructed by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts, do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.
Please try to restart your Ionic, if you haven't do so. How are you changing your Fitbit? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker. Did you have issues before with the charging cable?
Please take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too. And finally you can follow the suggested steps in this article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device?
Let's give it a try and please keep me posted.

Hi Yojana,
Just to clarify, I have a Blaze device.
I’ve cleaned it using cotton swabs to be as gentle as I can, charging is fine it seems to get a full charge but it just has an issue sustaining that charge for longer than 20-24hrs.
As the device keeps resetting itself, when it does come back online the time is obviously wrong so that constantly needs updating.
As for resetting it myself, I’ve done everything I can find but it doesn’t make a difference.
I really expected more from something I look after and don’t abuse.
