Heart rate is inaccurate during exercise

I seem to have a problem with my Blaze giving incorrect HR while exercising.

I walk on the treamill and my HR is in the Fat burn zone (for me up to 120 BPM) but as soon as i get warm or the slightest sweat the blaze HR goes up sometimes by a large amount. If i remove the watch and wipe it and my wrist and put it back on then it reads correctly for a few minutes and then the whole process repeats. Its very annoying having to do this while walking on the treadmill.

Any suggestions to prevent this issue.

Above, i dont think my HR actually went above 120 BPM yet the blaze thought in spent 30mins above with some larger peaks.

Hi there @Flug, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your heart rate correclty.

I have noticed that in some cases, sweat causes the heart rate not to be very accurate, what you can try is to wear your tracker on the inside of your wrist while you do these type of activities and make sure to keep your wrist dry by cleaning any excessive sweat every now and then.  Try it out and see if that makes any difference.

Let me know if you need more help!
