Heart rate not accurate?

Hi all,

I have had my Blaze for over a year, long after the warranty period. Recently I've noticed during workouts my heart rate will register waaaayyyy lower (like 20-30 BPM lower, or totally wrong) than what I check on myself (physiology student). Sometimes it will even say its at 89-90's when I'm clearly in the 150s, or I even notice its telling me I'm at 110 even when I'm sitting resting. I try everything I can find online, from taking the band off and wiping the sweat, moving it up and down my wrist, restarting it, and turning the HR mode on and off. I even switch wrists which seemed to work better before, but that is not working very well anymore. Its very frustrating when I'm trying to get a good workout in! Has any one else who's had their fitbit for a while have this issue? Aside from buying a new one, I don't know what there is to do. All the other features seem to work fine.

Thanks!

It's great to welcome you @missymay. If you are seeing that your tracker's heart rate information is not being accurate, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to find some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve. Also, in this other post our friend @FerdinandFitbit is sharing some tips to correctly wear your tracker in order to have more accurate information.
