Height, weight and accuracy inquiries

My wife gave me a HR for Christmas two years ago and in all that time, I noticed that it was not very accurate with regards to distance and footsteps. My wife has once again given me a new Fitbit (the Blaze) and I am very happy with it.

I would like to know if anyone can tell me if this Fitbit is more accurate than the HR? I also watched a video on YouTube that showed there was a way to input your height and weight? I have not been able to figure out how and where to make those inputs. Can someone explain how to do this?

A warm welcome to the Community @Chrisman63.

I am glad to hear that you are happy with your Blaze. Now regarding to your inquiries, I think that all Fitbit trackers are accurate. For more information about how they work, you can take a look at the How accurate are Fitbit devices? article.

About the height and weight, you can set this information by doing the following from your computer:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the gear icon
  3. Click Settings
  4. Enter your height and weight
  5. Sync

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy
