I have a Fitbit Blaze version 17.8.402.1
I have tried:
i have updated it as it is new
reinstalling app
turning app off
turning watch off
restarting phone and watch
restarting Bluetooth on phone and watch
but it still says the same thing. I have tried to sync it many times but it keeps displaying the Nov 8 at 4.48pm. but today is the 18th of November.
it also shows the wrong time and when i change the display of the time using the app it doesn't change it on the watch.
Basically its not syncing now and keeps saying its scheduled to sync.
Please help someone.
I set up my husbands fitbit Blaze the same model and i didn't have a problem.

@shezza1975 was your husband's Blaze set up with the same unidentified phone?
If the time is off it sounds a sync problem

I keep getting that 'scheduled' pop-up too. Whatever that means. If I wanted scheduled ones, I wouldn't be swiping to synch in the first place.

@BitBat is all day sync turned on? This is the scheduled sync control.

Yep. Makes no difference. I haven't bothered since yesterday morning though. Apps are off the mobile devices. Using my partner's Mac only to pair. Even my W10 on PC is hopeless with it.
I posted my own tale of woe regarding syncing.
