How to access heart rate data

I am interested in getting heart rate data for the time I am not working out. For example, I want to find what my lowest heart rate was and at what time.  As far as I can tell that data is inaccessable.  I'm new to fitbit and I'm still getting used to the system.

thanks

Thanks for the response.   I guess I equated recording the data to my ability to access the data.  The deeper I delve into the Blaze and it's offerings, the more I think it's not for me.

You can see it, I often look for it as well, unfortunately it just is not smoething that is specifically recorded. If you go to the dashboard and expand the HR for the day you can do this:

You can do something similar on the app as well.  Tracking and recording that data is not done through Fitbit if that is what you wanted, but if it is the regular quick look for your lowest HR for the day and at what time, then yes you can see that on the phone and the dashboard.  Here is the app view of the same day showing 49bpm as my lowest at 11:00pm:

You might want to take a look at the API forum, heart rate has been added to the API interface. Somebody there should be able to answer you better.

There are two Github projects that will download your Fitbit data into a Goofle sheet. This one gives specific commands to use for your heart rate data. Here is the other one.

Thanks racertempo.  That is exactly what I was looking for.

The dashboard is easier to find the low point because you can drag your mouse and hit the low point in the graph.  The app is a little tougher because you might have a make a few touches on your screen before you might he the low point.....it is easier just pulling up the app graph....either way it is obtainable, and I could back to my very first day with the ChargeHR and find that data as well, it is not capped at 7 or 30-days, you can see every day since the first day you own your fitbit.

I don't have access to that tile on my Dashboard. I added all of my tiles and all I see is Resting HR or Recent Exercise period HR's. This could be because I came from my FitBit One but I am a little frustrated that I can only view it through the app so far and Data Export doesn't draw it out either.

I'll take a look at the API Forum and see if I can do something about this.

Hi @Elcs

That tile can show several different metrics: Steps, Heart Rate, Distance, Calories, Flights of Stairs, and Active Minutes - you can choose which metric from the drop down menu as shown in the attached image. (I think this tile defaults to "Steps".)

That tile didn't have half the options you have there.

I deleted the tile and re-created it. Now I appear to have access to that heart rate feature but I can only see the full day's heart rate for today, not yesterday or any previous day. The 7 Day option only gives me the higher end readings like how long I was in Fat Burn/Cardio/Even Faster section.

I was looking forward to a full reading for each and every day.

You can access every day, you just need to go to that day's tile.  Just tap that button in the picture below and you can go back years and years and see your very first day every with your fitbit.
