I bought a Fitbit new in box off someone to resell and I'm wondering is there any way to check and make sure it isn't stolen before I sell it. I buy and sell phones and am able to look those up with imei. I have a bill of sale and proof of ID but I would assume if it is stolen and someone tries to register for warranty it will come back to bite me. Im not worried about legal issue, that is why I always get bill of sale and photo ID. I am worried about risking my reputation and selling account. TIA

Well @Josh1775. if you are not the original purchaser it may come back and bite.
I'm not sure what is meant by proof of ID? The trackers serial number will be found on the box.
If your asking about warranty then you will need to contack Fitbit. They hopefully will be the ones honoring the warranty. I would also look below and read up on the warranty.
