Do you just wait until the charging graphic looks full or is there an actual "fully charged" confirmation that happens?

touch the screen, and you will see the tiny battery indicator in the top corner that moves and is blue......will change to solid green.

Thanks! Maybe I have not been fully charging it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it not being charged all the way, it is better for a Lithium batteries if they aren't charged to 100%, or let get completely dead.
Some throw their tracker on their charger while they are showing. Ypu shouldn't walk in the shower anyway. Their unit never gets fully charge or dies from lack of juice.
I never noticed tge change in the icon battery, but then it's only been charged twice

Yeah, no, I've been getting like 3 days of life out of mine before it goes crazy telling me it's about to die. I want to make sure it's fully charged because I'm not getting the expected battery life at all.

When it shows solid green in that little icon, you can remove and put it back in immediately and the very large icon should show solid green.....but like Rich said, don't worry about getting to 100% all of the time. I charge mine when in the car and it just get to what it gets to, never been below half battery yet.
Since you are getting low indicators at 3 days, I would charge it at work or sometime when you are still and just leave it there, I think it can take up to an hour or more to 100% charge.

I just got the Blaze. Two things... I had a Flex before, so already have the app, on both my PC and my iPhone. Do I need to change anything there?
Secondly, I started charging it, plugged it in, got a pop-up that it was installing something, (on my PC) the Fitbit icon lit up on the Blaze, then after a few seconds it blacks out again. It lights up again, if I tap it. The fitbit icon flashes on and off and under it, it says fitbit.com/setup
There is NO small battery symbol anywhere So, is it charging, or am I doing something wrong?

There is a very small battery icon in the top left. Once the large battery icon goes away, the Blaze goes dark to optomize charging, then if you just tap the screen you can see that little tiny battery in the corner indicating charging, the icon actually shows a little battery with an animation of it getting charged/filled. When done, that icon is solid green.

@csutak40 while your Blaze is showing www.Fitbit.com/setup there will not be the little Battery with the Charge symbol. This symbol will only appear after the Blaze is serup.
Plugging it in turned the Blaze on, and while charging the display will turn off, tapping indeed wakes the Blaze up.
I assume you plugged your Blaze into a Win10 computer. What was being downloaded to the computer is the drivers that allow your Blaze to communicate through the USB cable. This is as it should happen.
We will leave the Blaze plugged into the PC and go to HTTP://www.Fitbit.com/setup and download and insta the Fitbit software.
Log into your Fitbit account, and add the Blaze.as a replacement or a second device, it's your choice.
The software will ask what type, find your Blaze, then download an update to the Blaze Firmware.. Your now setup, the battery icon should now be visible while charging, or on any screen other then the clock.
You now can log into your phones app, and it should show the Blaze attached to your account.
Alternatively you may use the iPhone to setup and update the Blaze.

I'm with him - no matter how many times people say there is a small battery app in the corner, there is NOT a small battery app in the corner. I plug in, it goes dark, my phone just sits on "loading" and I've gotten nowhere so far. When I try to do it on my computer since the app failed, it says turn on Bluetooth or I can't continue. Of course my Bluetooth IS turned on, so I'm stuck there as well.

Then that's not good, because I followed the charging directions exactly as stated. Not too complicated. But even if it isn't being charged, shouldn't I have that indicator? There is no battery indicator on it at all. None.

Yes there is a battery icon on the display even if it is not being charged.. It will be seen on most displays with the exception of the clock. When charging it will also be seen when the clock is on. The one exception is when the message www.fitbit.com/setup appears in this case there will never be seen a battery indicator. Look at the tip of my finger.
Also the battery level may be viewed at any time through the app or dashboard, if there was a recent sync.

When it tells you the battery is low it means that there is still one full day left of the battery if that helps at all.

@Kahy, after you finish setting up the tracker, and the "setup" message is gone you will see the battery icon.

When you go into setup, and the battery is not charged, setup will tell you that it must be charged to finish setup. I have plugged my blaze into two different computers in all usb ports, also into a wall usb charger. It will not charge. This is my second blaze with the same problem. Any suggestions, anyone !?
