IOS notifications lost after phone restart

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this behaviour before I open a ticket with Fitbit.

I am running an iPhone 6s IOS 9.2.1

Notifications (call/text/calendar) in general work fine for me, but last night I restarted my phone and notifications stopped working on the Blaze.

Bluetooth connection showed as active and the device was syncing without issue, the only thing that worked to get notifications to work again was to toggle the notifications off in the Fitbit app, sync the Blaze then toggle the notifications back on again.

Just wondering if it is only me that is seeing this behaviour?

@SunsetRunner A warm welcome to the Community! Thanks for the details that you've mentioned. I would like you to try this troubleshoot to see if you get your notifications working again. I believe that when you restarted your phone the notifications turned off.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks @SilviaFitbit Not too new here though Smiley Happy

They are working my issue is related to device restarts causing the notifications to Stop working on the Blaze. In the Fitbit app they still show as on, even if it were true that they turned off that should not happen.  If I have to turn notification back on each time I walked out of bluetooth range of my phone the Blaze is going back.

Basically if my iphone battery runs dry or I restart the phone notifications for the Blaze stop working until I shut them off in the Fitbit app and turn them back on again in the app.  I would not consider this normal behaviour and was wondering if this behaviour is isolated to me.

I have been able to replicate the behaviour on another iPhone and iPad as well so either there is something wrong with my Blaze or bluetooth communication is not re-establishing correctly once the Blaze reconnects after a phone restart.

Note I only had the Blaze connected to one device at a time when I tested, I removed the Blaze and then test, remove the Blaze then test on each phone.
