Inaccurate Calorie Count

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
My Blaze really gives my high calorie counts even when it is not on my wrist. I did a brisk walk for 45 minutes this morning. My S tracker in my phone gave me 489 calories but the blaze gave 936. I took it off to shower and when i came back it said 1025 calories burned. It wasn't even on. Its been excessive with the calorie counter for a while. Not sure I can continue to trust this product. Help?

i just bought a blaze...and i had a similiar issue with my HR too

When you take off the blaze, see if you still get a Heart rate on the watch. It's weird, I know. When I take off my fitbit, the heartrate jumps up to 92 beats per minute...when there are no beats per minute to count!

A higher than normal heart rate will def cause calorie miscalculations. As I said, I just bought my blaze today but ive had my HR for a few months. These HR can show a little high which causes the calories to be a little high too.

Are you wearing the fitbit two finger lengths from your wrist bone and not have the fitbit too tight?
