Getting tired of trying to achieve accurate distance readings with my Blaze. I am on my third Blaze (lots of battery problems). My Zip is much more accurate with distance readings; on average it is only about 3/10's of a mile off for each mile walked; my Blaze, on average, is 7/10's of a mile off. I have always adjusted the stride length in the advanced settings. TI have it set up so the Blaze syncs to one device; the Zip syncs to a different device. Having the distance readings be so inaccurate is discouraging. Does fitbit sell anything that is more accurate than the Blaze.? I like my Zip but I want the heart rate monitoring.

Hi there @neverceaselearn. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry you're having problems with your distance not being recorded correctly on your Blaze 😕
In order to get an accurate distance while walking and general recording, I'd recommend making sure that you're swinging your arms to make sure that your tracker recognizes this and records it as steps and count the stride length for them and give you a more accurate distance reading.
Now, also, something that I can recommend for tracking your distance accurately when you're recording specific activities like running, walking or hiking, is to use the Mobile Run feature on your app. For this, go to the Exercise tile, then at the top right corner, select the Stop Watch and choose if you're doing a run, a walk or a hike and start tracking. This will make your distance be determined by GPS rather than by your stride length which will result in a way more accurate reading.
Hope this helps and anything else you may need, I'm here to help!
