Hi all,
I'm running iOS 11.4.1 and my Fitbit app just updated. Since it did that, Food items I enter are either disappearing as soon as I enter them, or are appearing as different items than I select in my log. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Thanks for your help!

Keep an eye on the following thread which has the latest updates from fitbit on this bug: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Issues-with-food-input-on-iOS-2-53/td-p/2825777
I am having the same problem. As soon as I add something, it disappears on the food log. Then when the exit out of the app and return to the app it has completely disappeared and removed itself from my calorie intake.

@NelaAluwihare yes, that sounds like the same bug. Fitbit will update the main thread linked earlier when there is any news.

Most of my breakfast items did stay as entered but the lunch items change to something else. I tried to enter a particular brand of Greek yogurt and it changes to “cod cakes at 350 calories”. The ambrosia apple changes to “organic protein drink mix, chocolate at 691 calories”. It would be funny if I weren’t seriously trying to log my foods. I’ve had a Fitbit since Jan 2015 and I’ve never experienced anything like this.

@Nelday you can log food via fitbit.com as a temporary solution. We need to wait for fitbit to fix the app. See my earlier post for a link to the thread fitbit are updating.
Best AnswerI think we need to enter our food choices at Fitbit.com and not on the app. 😬. I hope this issue is fixed soon.
Best AnswerI'm glad that you posted this message. I have been logging my food and calories since November and today's update has really messed up the app. I tried several times but no luck. I've lost 35 pounds using this food log and I am really disappointed that the update was a poor one.

Hello all,
I hope you are doing fine. As mentioned by our friend, our team was aware of this issue and already resolved it. Food logging service should be restored in the new iOS app, 2.53.1. Please update your Fitbit app and if problems still persist, please comment in the discussion here.
Catch you later. ![]()
