Not sure why this is happening but I would recommend logging out of your Fitbit app and log back in with your same email address and password and see if this makes everything to match properly.

Best AnswerIn the end I found my profile on line and changed the Km to miles. That was yesterday. Nothing happened until I woke up this morning to find that it was in miles. Not sure why it waits. But it is done now.

The key to see the changes reflected is to make sure you save the changes at the bottom of the page in the profile section and then it's really important to sync your tracker to your phone/computer for it to take the changes.
