The green LED lights recently stopped turning off. I don't wear my watch at night (never have been able to get used to the feeling) and keep it beside my bed. The screen will shut off but the LED lights continue to blink and stay on. I know this last for hours because I've woken up in the middle of the night and they are still on. At some point they must shut off before morning but now I've started to pop the device out of the band and turn it face up to reduce the green glare. Any suggestions?

A warm welcome to the Community @hooknorton.
Have you checked if your heart rate is set to "Auto" or "Off"? If you haven't, I recommend swiping to settings and check this.

Same problem. Setting HR to On, Off, or Auto makes no difference. Also tried shutting down and re-booting watch. Lights still stay on, solid green. What else can I try?

My Fitbit Sense has the same problem. It’s glowing green unblinking. Turning on and off auto HR also doesn’t help.
