Hi @Ljarmybrt. Nice to see you in the Forums! 🙂
I also think that something like this would be awesome so that users can ensure they will not miss any workout by accident. For this, I've found a feature request in the Feature Request board (that you can check by clicking here) and add your vote and comments. The more votes it gets, the more chances to be reviewed and hopefully implemented in the future.
Anything else, let me know and I'll be glad to help!

The blaze quick view setting can be turned off right on the watch.
I hope the lock screen feature doesn't turn off quick view, this would defeat the purpose of locking it during a run.
My thoughts are a night mode such as this idea.

Hi @Pattikraisser, Good to see you around! 😄
@Rich_Laue I really hope that doesn't happen and that having the capability to lock the screen doesn't interfere with the quick view mode. We'll have to wait and see what the developers come up with.

Personally i think the only thing a lock screen should do is to make an extra step needed before an event tracking can be turned off. Currently it is to easy to do.
Maybe all is needed is to press pause - stop, as we do now, but then add a select or confirm, with a 2 second timeout, until it is confirmed keep the blaze tracking the run.. This timeout feature would reset the stop sequence bringing the blaze back to the tracking screen.

i like your thinking but i don't agree this is a viable solution. When I'm wearing boxing gloves the blaze always gets paused, and occasionally it even ends the exercise session (which requires more than a single touchscreen input). The optimal fix for a screen lock would surely be pressing two of the physical buttons on the side of the blaze simultaneously.

I do agree with you @LeeF87. Pressing two buttons at a time is a great idea to finish activities so that external factors as your gloves in your case, don't end the activity.
Thanks a lot for sharing and welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂
