Logging Food Intake

Starting today, I noticed the process has changed to input my food intake. I was taken completely by surprise with this change. The new process is not as intuitive as the old one. It might take awhile to get use to, but thus far I'm not a fan of the new process. Are we stuck with this new procedure?

For what it's worth, I communicated with someone at Fitbit "Help" and got somewhat of an answer to my Food Logging issue.  It seems that Fitbit rolled out a new Food Logging process today, supposedly at the request of some users...somewhere and they didn't tell anybody about it.  The person I was in contact with sent me a web address to look at that was suppose to help users navigate the new food logging process  (https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1375#LogFood).  The new procedure is not as simple and straightforward as the old process was, and the web page is not entirely useless in walking you through it.  I guess we just have to deal with "progress."

I hope this helps anyone else who runs into this problem.

For what it's worth, the very next day the "food logging" process went back to the old process for me, again no warning and no explanation.  I didn't do anything different, it just happened. I'm pleased to have things back to normal, but it would be nice if and when changes are going to be rolled out that the users are notified (warned) in advance.

Thanks.
