Logging activities when not being worn.

Hi, I just got a Fitbit Blaze.  I previously had a Fitbit One.  I loaded my new device to my account and it shows activiites being logged and I have no idea how this has happened?  I'm confused.  My old Fitbit has not been worn in months and I just got the Blaze today but shows that I took almost 3000 steps today which is false.  It also recorded activities for the past several weeks.  Any ideas what is going on?  I checked the "Health" app on my phone and it recorded half the steps the Fitbit is showing.  I saw where this could be causing the log in issues but it's way off.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Hi there @slipscomb Good to see you around! 🙂

It's very strange that your brand new tracker is showing activities logged and steps. I would recommend manually deleting that by using the driving activity. For that, do the following:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. At the top of the screen click Log > Activity.
  3. Find the data you want to negate by selecting a date range.
  4. In the activity menu, type in "Driving" and enter the duration and start time.
  5. Click Log Activity. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

You can also manually delete any exercise you don't recognize by tapping on the exercise, then tap on the three dots at the top right corner and then choose the option that says "Delete exercise".

From this point, your tracker should be working fine and if you notice anything not going well, let me know!
