Hi everyone. I notice that my Blaze shows really low calorie burn even when I workout daily. I do high intensity workouts everyday and I run at least 3km. An example is - Blaze only shows I burn 245 cals when I run 5km non-stop.
As another example, I did an hour of intense spinning session and was wearing both my Blaze and a Polar heart rate monitor strap. Blaze shows I only burn 300 cals and Polar shows 750 cals.
Why is this happening? It is frustrating as I am not able to calculate my food intake accurately.

Welcome to the Fitbit Family @Ccct92! I would like you to make sure that your personal information is properly entered in your Dashboard. Also, double check that you're properly wearing your Blaze so the heart rate can be detected correctly.
Additionally, both trackers won't show the same results because each one has its own algorithm to track activities.
Also, reply to the following questions: Is it the first time that you're seeing this amount of calories burned? Have you compared activities from previous days? (done using your Blaze)
Keep me posted.

Hi. Yes my personal information is entered correctly.
i am also wearing the Blaze properly.
with regards to your question, it is not the first time I am seeing low calories burned. I always see low calories burned whenever I sync my workouts after I finish working out (done using the exercise tracking on blaze).

Thanks for confirming your information @Ccct92! I would like you to restart your Blaze and keep monitoring your data.
Also, how many calories burned are you getting for the whole day? You may want to calculate how many calories you should get by doing those activities, just enter your information here.
Keep me posted!

I have restated my tracker many times. But to no avail.
Blaze shows I burn a maximum of 1760 cals (on the day I worked out most this week). FYI, I weigh 41kg and I am 154cm tall.

I have the same problem and I wonder if it’s due to my high cardio fitness score (48) and low resting heart rate (low 50’s). I did a 5k run this morning and my Versa Fitbit have me about 200 calories burned.
Did anyone come up with a solution to this issue?

I’ve not seen any replies which provide a workable solution to this. I have the same problem. I’m a 59 year old female black belt karateka and frequently do an hours session with an average heart rate of 140bpm (peak around 171bpm) but the Fitbit tells me I’m only burning 360 cals. If I put in an hours session just as karate (ie not with heart rate) the Fitbit says I could be burning 480 cals but I don’t see how this would even be physically possible using the actual physical data. My guess is that there must be a flaw in the algorithm?
