What is the bottom button for on the side of the watch. It has already come off and I don't even know what it does

The top button is for "Action" and bottom is for "Select"

Use varies depending on which screen you are in

The bottom right button is used for in apps built into the watch.

Sad it broke so quickly.  Did it break off the side of the case or the watch module inside the case.

From the manual, the bottom right is the select.

I assume you are saying it broke off the frame and not the unit. You might want to contact Fitbit about this. There is much valuable info to be found in the Blaze help site.

The silver button broke off the frame. Am going to return to the store but will definitely contact Fitbit.
Thank you! I will check out the manual. Much more detailed than the blaze 101.

You can also access your music by holding down the top right button. This is useful if you are in a workout mode. Also, you can perform a hard reset of the watch by holding down the left and bottom right button for a few seconds. That has often fixed some of my bluetooth connection problems.
