I just got the Blaze and my notifications are not showing up on my wrist. I am receving text messages and calander alerts on my cell phone but they are not being transmitted to the Blaze. What am I doing wrong?

do you have your blaze set to 'all day sync'?  Do you have notifications turned on on the watch itself? Did you set it up to receive notifications from your messaging app?  You have to actually choose which message app to get them from. Also, what kind of phone do you have?

I know those are very basic questions but you didn't say what you've tried.

Thanks for the reply,
I have a droid Turbo 2, and i was receiving messages last night and then
today I am receiving no notifications. I followed the set up process, I am
set to all day sync, I have notifications turned on. I don't know if I set
it up to receive notifications from my messaging app, I did not select
which message app to receive from. How do I do this?

you select the messaging app through the fitbit app on your phone. go to
your phone app dashboard, then touch the blaze on top of the list, then
touch the blaze again and you'll get to the settings screen. Under
'general' you'll see the 'call and text notifications', touch that and
you'll be able to select which apps you use for calls, text and calender
notififications. you should alspo enable the notification widget.

I see that and under the 'call and text notifications' I toggled on call
notifications, text notifications, and calendar notifications. There is no
option for me to select where they will be coming from. I simply touch
'text notifications' and it allows me to toggle on and underneath it the
word 'messaging' appears, yet I am receiving zero notifications. Do I have
to reset the fitbit (removing the device and re-install it) ?

hmm, you could restart your blaze (pressing both the left and bottom right
buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds). also, I found that if I turn
on bluetooth classic to control music through spotify it screws up the
notifications with my note 5. you should restart your phone and your blaze.

That still did not work, not quite sure where to turn now. Is there a way to factory reset the Blaze?

This is so disappointing becasue this was not an inexpensive purchase and I waited for a long time to receive this becuase I preorded.

you know, maybe you have a defective device. it isn't unheard of. you
should call customer service. they'd be better suited to helping than I
would. sorry I don't have anything else for you. I've only had mine since
wednesday. it seems like each different android phone/service provider has
their own unique but not insurmountable quirks.

I have the Droid Turbo 2 also and when I go under my Text Notifications, I have the choice to use Hangouts, Message+, and Messaging. One thing I noticed is that if you use Message+, you only receive a notification that you have a message. If you use Messaging, you can actually read the text on your Blaze.

If you only have Messaging uder your choices (and the one I prefer due to above reasons), then you need to select Messaging as your preferred app for receiving and sending text messages on your Droid Turbo 2. This can be done by opening up the Messaging app and then selecting it as your default when the dialog pops up. Message+ is the default text app when you first get the phone.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, I have done this and I am still not receiving notifications. Any
other suggestions??
I have a call in with fitbit, waiting to hear a response. The customer
service fitbit has is not very good, to say the least.

I find that I have to restart my phone every morning for the text messages to show up on a daily basis.  Not sure why that is, but it is a fairly quick fix.  I hope that helps.
