Mileage is not correct

I have had my Blaze about a month now, and it seemed to be working ok. But on Friday I noticed that the mileage was not correct as I walked. It was windy so put it down to wind affecting it. This morning I walked, I had my Runkeeper app on my phone it correctly had me at 7.73 miles. My Blaze has me at 5.14 miles. Any way to correct this?

Here's a link to the steps. I would also suggest giving your tracker a reboot (hold left and bottom right buttons down) and see if that helps your future mileage.

Hi, @whiterose59! Have you adjusted your stride length?

This does not solve the problem.  I have to set my walking stride to 4 feet for the mileage on my Blaze to be accurate, then it throws off my One if I decide to use it.  There is another problem, either with the firmware or the way the watch uses the stride length in our profiles.

I've had my Blaze for a week and the mileage has been correct within tenth of a mile or so, not a big deal. This morning it shorted me .94. When I stopped the mapping portion of the app and hit finished it showed the 4 miles on the map as complete but on the dash board it only shows 3.06 miles. I know the 4 miles is correct. I was walking with others who use map my run or the Nike app. I've also clocked it in my car. Just wondering why it would have dropped the mileage. The only thing I did differently this morning was I put my phone in my jacket pocket instead of carrying it or on my arm. I'm not sure why that would have made a differnce? Can I add the mileage difference? If the mileage was off does that mean my calories and steps are wrong too?

From what I've heard, the latest Blaze update may have messed something up... I believe they're looking into it, but if it's a software issue, we may have to hang tight until the next update. I know that when I'm keeping an eye on my steps at the end of the day, trying to hit a number, sometimes my Blaze just... stops.
