My Blaze Is Logging Steps While It Charges

The past 2 times I've had to charge my Blaze, I wake up to having over 25,000 steps already logged for the day.  Even if I sleepwalk (which I don't), I'm not even wearing the Blaze while I sleep...it's on the charge.  So why is it logging all of these steps??   When I questioned this the first time, I was told that the site had a glitch.  But it just happened again last night when I charged it.  My dashboard, the app, the Blaze itself...everything shows that I currently have 32,339 steps for the day.  I'd say around 6,500-7,-000 would be more accurate.  The other stuff...flights of stairs, calories, miles, etc. are all accurate based on that 6,500-7,000 count.

How do I fix this or keep it from happening in the future??  This makes it look like I'm cheating at every challenge my friends & I do with one another.

HELP!!

My first thoughts are how long are you leaving the Blaze on the charger, 2 hours should be more than enough time, and should not be done overnight..
The second thought would be where is the charger located, is it on s tsble that is vibrating, msybe a fan is nearby. Usually this has been found to be the cause. Once i left the tracker on the dryer, those steps added up quickly

Definitely restart the Blaze, just in case its experiencing a glitch.

Hello @LauraMac426 welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 As @Rich_Laue mentioned a vibration near the tracker can be the reason why it is recording steps while charging. If you have your heart rate "On" I would suggest to turning it off while charging. Also you can restart the tracker as suggested by @bbarrera and test it the next time you charge it.
