I have had my Blaze for about three months. It does not count all my steps no matter what I do. I previously had a Zip that was extremely accurate in step count and miles walked/run. I have always recorded approximately 2100 steps per mile with a 30.8 stride length. Using the same course while wearing my Blaze my step count is usually between 1750 and 1820. To acurately get the distance (1 mile) I have to set my stride length at almost 40 inches. SInce I am only 5' 4" this is not my optimun stride length. I have compared my numbers against my Samsung SFitness app. The Blaze always shows a step count of 75-80% compared to my Samsung. I have restarted my Blaze and have shutdown and rebooted several times in settings and am still have the low step count.

A warm welcome to the Community @Dewey1, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.
If your Blaze is not being accurate, I recommend restarting your tracker a couple of times more, after the restart process walk 100 steps and let me know how many the device registered.
Hope to hear from you soon. ![]()
