My Fitbit Blaze doesn't sync the correct time

My Fitbit Blaze doesn't sync the correct time.

It ran out of battery power before I could recharge it, and when it was fully recharged, it had an incorrect time. I've gone through the steps to sync it, and it seems to sync my steps, but the time does not sync. I've come to my wits' end, "doing the same thing, over and over again, expecting a different result." Sad. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks!

Ray

I believe it is because they discontinued the Blaze.  Pretty crappy in my opinion.  Plus they won't try to help. I will never buy another thing from Fitbit.

Hi, my blaze has also stopped syncing.  It ran out of battery and now I have the wrong time.  I was offered a 3-month free trial to upgrade to premium, I accepted but syncing has stopped from the 15th April.

I know we are in a world crisis at the moment, but when I found it wasn't syncing and tried to revert back to my old setting and cancel the premium, I kept going around in circles.

I had problems. You need to make sure that you watch clicks correctly into your charger. Make sure both are clean from dust. Also charge from a PowerPoint.
I hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply.  I have had no problems with charging but was not syncing.   I ended up uninstalling the Fitbit app on my phone, then reinstalled.   It did sync.... finally, but it seems to not do so automatically anymore as it did before.  It's a tedious process.

I was going to throw it away and buy another brand, but had just bought a new wrist band that was way more comfortable than the original.  I just charged up the battery and waited for the exact time the battery died, and fired up the watch.  So it does everything except have the correct date, which I can live with.  Just the same, I will never buy a fit bit again.  Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I had to open my fitbit account on my laptop and reset my time zone preference.  It happen to me when I changed timezones and then returned home.

A long time since I did first post.  I ended up  upgrading to a Versa 2 and it has been harder to get to sync than the Blaze.  It comes up pairing rejected by versa 2 with my phone.  It's random, if it goes completely flat the time can be lost.  I have Samsung galaxy 6.  It does sync but generally it's by accident.  Any similar issues?

Just experienced the same issue after re-charging.. My Fitbit was almost exactly 12 hours fast.  Tried re-setting several times, changing the time zone settings on my phone to force any change, changed clock display type, putting it back in the charge cradle for 30 minutes. Still off 12 hours ahead, into the next calendar day,

- I then uninstalled the app from my phone (android), re-installed the app........and the time/date finally re-set properly.  I lost my steps for the day momentarily until I resynced it again and everything now is fine.   (If that didn't work I was ready to delete the Blaze from my account and then try to re-connect it).

Hi, my fitbit appears to be connecting to Bluetooth and syncing. I did
accept a request to trial premium - coincidental perhaps. I didn't think
you would need to sign up for tracker to work properly 🤔

I deleted the App from my phone and reinstalled it.  That did the trick.  Strangely enough, I still can't sync through the computer.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
