This happened to me, except my blaze was new.

Fitbit emailed me and said...

Hi Marc,

We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention and for the information, as well as for trying to troubleshoot the issue prior to contacting us. Also, for choosing Fitbit to be your fitness partner. Let's work together in finding a solution for your Blaze that isn't charging.

For us to further troubleshoot the issue, we recommend giving the following tips a try:

  1. Dust and debris can accumulate over time and prevent a charge. Clean the charging contacts using the instructions in How do I clean my tracker?
  2. If you haven't done so, try a different port. A UL-certified wall charger will also work. Don't use a USB hub.
  3. Check the alignment and try reconnecting your tracker to the charging cable. For illustrations and tips on how to know if the connection is secure, see How do I charge my tracker?
  4. Would you confirm if the restarting steps you've done are aligned with with the instructions from  How do I restart my tracker?
  5. Thoroughly dry your tracker before charging it.

We look forward to having you back on track and reaching your fitness goals. Let us know if you have any questions, so we may assist you accordingly.

Sincerely,

Yousef A and the Fitbit Team

My Blaze went totally black today and will not turn on. Did all the necessary steps as per instructions. Green pulse lights work though. Very unsatisfactory is my rating for this device. I had a double bipass 5 months ago and chose fitbit.comhelp out of all competitor brands for reliability. I need a portable heart rate device for when I'm on the go. I'm ready to personally return it to their headquarters and smash it on the CEO's desk. Outraged.

I’m sorry to hear that, Fitbit Blaze sucks, isn’t it? even when monitor
turn on again this issues just shouldn’t happen, what about the wasted time
while it doesn’t work?
after charged it 2 days and tried several times to restart it finally it
turns on again, I just hold left button and lower right button at same time
for 10 sec and when it turned on battery was empty, so I had to charge it
for another hour.

Hope you get a solution
