What screen is it stuck on?

@Melissacollins3 I'm going to assume your clock face has disappeared while through the Web or app you where trying to change it. The easiest thing would be to change it again, change it to the face you want, and do a sync.

As for returning back to the clock faces automatically, no this doesn't happen.

Thank you for your response! I have tried that multiple times and it still is stuck on the "today" screen.

The "today" screen.

When I purchased this last week and downloaded the app, the "time face" was always what appeared when I turned it on. Now there is no time at all:(

Can you move to the other screens like exercise and settings or is it completely stuck on the today screen?

I can move to the other screens but the clock has totally disappeared. I also have to press the button to get it to come on. It doesn't come on when I raise my arm.

Have you tried turning off the Blaze in the settings screen or doing a hard reset of the Blaze?

If only the today screen shows and you can not swipe to the clock, then the clock did not load correctly.
If changing the clock face and a sync doesn't fix it then it would be wise to contact Fitbit at http://contact.fitbit.com

I can also confirm that there seems to be a problem with the Blaze and updating the clock faces.

Firmware: 17.8.102.7

Phone: iPhone 6+ running latest iOS

  • I decided to try the 'Flare' clock face so I went ahead and chose it in the Fitbit App
  • Flare clock face synced and appeared on my Blaze
  • Two hours later I decided to go back to the 'Original' clock face and the Blaze attempted to sync (Animated Fitbit Logo).  The Blaze vibrated but clock face was missing...the default screen became the Today screen
  • I then chose a different clock face 'Pop' and again synced the Blaze
  • The Blaze updated and showed the 'Original' clock face but the app was showing the 'Pop' clock face selected
  • Upon the next Sync the Blaze again lost the 'original' clock face and only showed the Today screen
  • I decided to remove the Blaze from the Fitbit app and re-add it.  Once I had gone through the setup screen everything seemed to go back to normal.

So, if this does happen I recommend you remove the Blaze from the Fitbit app and re-add it.

Hope this helps Fitbit troubleshoot the problem, and also helps other that have the same issue

This has happened to me twice, and there are several threads in the past month about the same issue. It sounds like the Blaze downloads the new face, without saving the old one, if the download our re face fails, then the Blaze has nothing to show.
As @Belanna84 states a second sync, or an additional clock change with its sync has been reported to work. If doing this several times, then it could be because of a tracker promblem, or a problem with Bluetooth our internet. Either way please contact.fitbit.com, since they have tools to look sry the backend of a tracker.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Melissacollins3! I would recommend to try one of the following troubleshoots:

1. On your settings select a different clock face than the one selected.

2. Sync your tracker.

3. Then select the one you wish to use.

This should get your clock face on your tracker. If after this your Blaze is not showing the clock face please try to set up your Blaze as a new device.

@Jason212@Rich_Laue and @NickMonger thanks for your cooperation! 🙂

Let me know if this helps. Cat Happy

I just bought a brand new Blaze 2 days ago. Worked well 24 hours, then the screen froze with stats. It wont change.  I have pushed the buttons but they are loose. It appears to work, but it is frozen.Wont even turn off. Help. I have had 6 prior fit bits, all broke!

This is my last hope and then I will NEVER buy another one.

Appreciate any help.

OK @BARBIE77 i have 2 thoughts.

Is the Blaze in the frame correctly and firmly, not upside down?

If you remove the Blaze from the frame, what happens when you press a button?

It's great to see you around @BARBIE77 and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.

I would like to know if you keep having problems with your Blaze? If you do, I recommend restarting the tracker a couple of times more. Also, could you please tell me if you are seeing an error on your tracker's display?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
