I just received an email about the new black blaze - just wondering when we would anticipate seeing this in stores in Canada? I see it can be ordered online now so hopefully soon.

I've had a black blaze long before Fitbit came out with one. Who's running this company?

I was actually wondering if there were plans to sell just the band? From what I can tell, it is only available with the purchase of the Blaze as a whole. Can anyone from Fitbit comment?

IDK about Canada--but you can easily order a black (and other colors) frame from 3rd parties on Amazon. I have royal blue, gold, pink gold

Are you referring to the actual black frame, or the Blaze body itself? Fitbit just announced the release of the new Blaze with black frame. Of course you could get these from Amazon for over a month now.

Thank you - never crossed my mind to look there. Pretty cheap - how is the quality?

Looks really nice aesthetically, but the band and frame look like their made out of exactly the same materials.
I'd like to know how they're justifying a 30 dollar price increase for some paint .

Hey everyone, here's some info that may answer a few questions:
The Blaze in gunmetal is more expensive than our other colors because its stainless steel frame must undergo a premium plating process. The plating process uses physical vapor deposition (PVD) rather than less expensive electroplating.
At this time we don't have plans to make the frame available separately.
