New Blaze chargers don't require disassembly

Anyone gotten the new chargers sold on Amazon that can charge the Blaze without having to take out the watch face and then re-attach it to the band ?

Reviews seem mostly positive, and it's nice not to have to separate the watch face.  You use that one at home, can keep the original charger in the car if you are ever away and the Blaze is running low.

I don't understand why Fitibit doesn't sell the Blaze with that kind of chargers. The charger it is sold with is crap. Mine damaged the edge of the tracker. Only one week old.

Are you talking about the glass on the front getting damaged? Just curious how it happened

No, it is not the glass, it is the body.

My blaze face is also getting loose inside the frame now, I guess I'll have to replace the frame if it gets too bad.

That sucks. I'm sure it will happen to everyone eventually with the OEM charger. Does anyone know if the aftermarket chargers are less prone to causing this?

I already wrote about it in the German forum. There they are surprised too. Some checked their trackers but they couldn't find these marks. Maybe my charger is poor quality. I contacted support. Now I'm waiting for answer.

Mine appears to have a slightly different design -

I have one.  Works great! It was $13 at the time, you put the entire watch on it, band and all.  It is like a little watch stand, sits on my bedside table.  No clamping involved, it is a simple friction fit,  charges great.

Which brand? There are several on Amazon. Thanks!

I got the one by Balerion, I think it was with amazon prime.

I have the following one. It works as intended and is a much better solution then the original charger. I have just ordered the dock one which has been posted here though, as both of the clip over designs interfere with my screen protector from the pressure they apply to the screen.

I've tried a few different aftermarket chargers that don't require removing the Blaze from the frame. The one that's like the OEM charger, but with space for the frame worked OK for a while, then drained my battery a couple of times over a couple of weeks, rather than charging it.

The one that's a stand wouldn't hold the Blaze with some frames. I used it with a frame that did work for a while, but it also drained the battery one day.

I now use the one that's just a clip. It hasn't drained the battery yet. Some days, I need to wiggle it to get it to connect, but it works OK.

I don't think there's really any different manufacturer involved in the different models of each design.

I just charge my Blaze when I'm in the shower every morning, as I can't wear it in there anyway, and it stays fully charged, no problem.

I like the aftermarket charger stand since it does not mar my iq skin screen protector like the stock clamshell charger does.

I might be doing something wrong:  my 2nd time with the new charger took over 5 hours to fully charge.  I think the 1st time it was under 2 hours.

What are most of you getting time-wise to fully charge the Blaze using these new chargers ?  The regular Blaze charger took just over 1 hour, using the USB attached to my PC.

I'm not sure how long it will take, this would depend on how much current the pc puts out. I would not expect it to be more than 2 hours.

I'm using my Xbox One to charge mine. So far, it's only taken 90 minutes to charge mine. That was the only place I can hook it up. Anywhere else was out of the question. I only have to charge mine once every 5 days, or 6 if I can push it.

But no more than 2 hours @Rich_Laue is correct. But I also have an Alta, which takes over when the Blaze is in the charger.

I bought a couple of these and can say they are perfect for the job. Use one in the car.

I have the 2 main ones mentioned The ones which clamps on and the docking station one (the latter I use the most), no problems so far.

I abandoned the original one early on as it was just annoying.

I just charge mine when I'm in the shower every day. I live in SoCA, so I try to take short showers. That, plus my shortish morning beauty routine, and it stays fully charged. I have noticed, though, that the charge bar never stops filling, even when it's fully charged, so it's hard to tell that it's fully charged.

I just got a new charger that has a built in batter and works with the frame still on too, and it works really well. It's more stable than some of the others and the stand charger doesn't work with all my frames. Some of them pop off. It's this one:
