Blaze no longer syncing with Ipad, Htc m8, or computer and settings menu no longer shows bluetooth classic option for turning on or off pairing. Was working fine just yesturday and pairing option was available. Also under settings version is still 17.8.102.7

Ok i played around with this thing all morning and finally was able to get it to work again. I don't understand how but by deleting all fitbit apps from devices and resetting blaze multiple times by holding down the main buttons a few seconds, it finally found the device and synced. When I then went back into the settings menu on the blaze I once again saw the Bluetooth Classic option.

I was also able to see my text messages in full by switching my message program from message+ to message in the fitbit app. When using message+ by verizon the only thing i would read on the blaze was the words 1 message or 2 messages. It would never show the complete message body. But when using the regular android message app on my phone, i am know able to read out the entire messages on the blaze. Enjoying my purchase once again, hope everything stays working as it should

On the tracker, either Blaze or Surge, the BT Classic is strictly for music control.
So it is up to you, if you don't want to control music thrn it could be kept off.
A BT device should never be kept in pairing mode.
@SunsetRunner you don't mention what problems your having?

I think that I have discovered the problem/solution.
IF your FitBit sees more than one other bluetooth device at the same time then it gets confused and will not snyc.
If I put my MacBook to sleep/close it etc then the Blaze will sync with my iPhone.
However if I have my MacBook on and opened next to my iPhone the Blaze just keeps looking and looking and looking.
Hope that this helps others.

@petercarp see the link I posted above, your Blaze, like any other Bluetooth receiver can only connect to one device at a time. Your Blaze does not see any bluetooth, if it is connected to the phone then the tablet won't be able to talk to it.
