New Blaze won't charge, update, setup.

I just got a brand new Blaze from bestbuy. I spent all this money on bands and everything. I take it out the box and follow the setup directions. It says to press the left button on the Blaze and keep the phone close so it can update. Then it says the battery is too low and needs to charge. I try plugging it in my laptop and wall USB connections like the one my iPhone has and it will not charge. It says the battery is low and it's been 4 hours. The Blaze just says to go to the setup page. I guess a lot of people have this problem but as much as i want d husband product I think I'm going to try and return it.

Welcome to the forum!

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

Best Buy also has a service that they will set your device up for you.

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

I just bought one today and tried to do the update but it told me "battery too low" so it could not update. I then went to charge it via usb on my pc. No charge and I waited 3 hours. After that I plugged it into the wall instead and I finally got it to charge. It's possibly an issue with the firmware but don't quote me on it. Anyways I got it updated and now its charging with my pc.

If it charges in the wall and not the comouter, it probably is the computer.. Some of the stop charging when the display turns off, most stop when TJ. Computer goes sleep.

When plugging in you should all ways feel a short vibration.
