I am trying to get my fitbit blaze to charge so that i can finish setting it up. I have it plugged into my computer for half an hour now it has not said it was charging it just says (fitbit.com/setup) and my phone just keeps telling me that the battery is to low to continue set up.

Please help.

I'm having the same problem though I've had mine in the charging cradle for over 4 hours.

I have sent in an e-mail support request but after it was submitted there was the suggestion to try the forum while waiting for a response.

 

My setup has passed the pairing stage and it "looks like" it is syncing between the phone and the fitbit. My phone is an iPhone 5 (IOS 10.3.3, the latest version for the 5).

I also tried running the app on a Windows 10 desktop without bluetooth and just using the charging cradle (as per the manuals instructions) but the upgrade fails there as well.

 

Some of the help web pages say to turn the fitbit off and on but the swiping right to left in the web page doesn't do anything.

My phone got a message from the fitbit saying that the battery was full so I tried the update again and this time it worked. It seems that something in the instructions may be missing.

i.e. "When you first get your fitbit put it in the charger for 12 hours before attempting to set it up"  🙂
